Change of Assignment definition

Change of Assignment. “Change of assignment” is an administrative action within a building before a vacancy is declared, including assignment to different courses, grade levels, or subjects. If needed, employees who have a change in assignment will receive up to 7 hours at per diem to move classrooms.
Change of Assignment refers to the changing of a District employee from assignment in one group of schools to assignment to a different group of schools, or a school employee to another guidance assignment within the same school.
Change of Assignment means a change in a 9139 employee’s assignment as defined in Section A. Changes of assignment can be either an Employee- Initiated Change of Assignment or an SFMTA-Initiated Change of Assignment.
