Closing Level definition

Closing Level. : means the official daily closing level of the FTSE 100 Index as published by the Index Sponsor.
Closing Level. : means the official daily Closing Level of the Index as published by the Index Sponsor in relation to each Scheduled Trading Day during the Investment Term.
Closing Level. : means the official daily closing level of the FTSE 100 Index or the EURO STOXX 50 Index, as the case may be, as published by the Index Sponsor.

Examples of Closing Level in a sentence

  • When you close an Expiry Transaction prior to the Last Dealing Time for the Instrument, the Closing Level will, if the Transaction is a Buy, be the lower figure then quoted by us and if the Transaction is a Sell, the higher figure then quoted by us.

  • If you do not close an Expiry Transaction in respect of an Instrument on or before the Last Dealing Time then we will close your Expiry Transaction as soon as we have ascertained the Closing Level of the Expiry Transaction.

  • The Closing Level of the Expiry Transaction will be (a) the worse between the price prevailing a day before the Last Dealing Time and the last traded price at or prior to the close or the applicable official closing quotation or value in the relevant Underlying Market as reported by the relevant exchange, errors and omissions excluded; plus or, as the case may be, minus (b) any Spread or Commission that we apply when such an Expiry Transaction is closed.

  • The Index Sponsor calculates the Closing Level (as defined below) of the Index on both an excess return basis and a total return basis.

  • The Calculation Agent shall also be responsible for (a) the determination of the Index Level on each Calculation Date, (b) the determination of the Rollover Closing Level of the 10 Uncommon Values Index for each Twelve-Month Period, (c) determining if any adjustments to the 10 Uncommon Values Index and/or the Multipliers should be made and (d) whether a Market Disruption Event has occurred.


More Definitions of Closing Level

Closing Level means, means the level specified as such in the relevant Supplemental Listing Document subject to any adjustment in accordance with Condition 6.
Closing Level means the final settlement price for settling the Hang Seng Index Futures Contracts that are scheduled to expire during the month in which the Expiry Date of the CBBCs is scheduled to fall (the "Index Futures Contracts"), determined pursuant to Regulation 012 of the Regulations for Trading Stock Index Futures Contracts and the Contract Specifications for Hang Seng Index Futures (as amended from time to time) of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (or its successor or assign), subject to our right to determine the Closing Level in good faith on the Valuation Date upon the occurrence of a Market Disruption Event as described further in the terms and conditions of the CBBCs.
Closing Level means the official closing level or value of the Index rounded to two decimal places on a given day as announced by the Index Sponsor, provided that, if on or after the Closing Date the Index Sponsor materially changes the time of day at which the official closing level or value is determined or no longer announces the official closing level or value, the Calculation Agent may thereafter deem the Closing Level to be the level or value of the Index as of the time of day used by the Index Sponsor to determine the official closing level or value prior to such change or failure to announce;
