Payments on Global Notes held in CMU shall be made in accordance with the CMU Rules and, on withdrawal of such Global Note from CMU, a record of all payments made in respect of such Note until the date of withdrawal shall be endorsed in the appropriate schedule to such Global Note, which endorsement shall be prima facie evidence that such payments have been made.
The CMU Lodging and Paying Agent will lodge the Global Certificate in respect of the Bonds with a sub-custodian of the CMU, acting as lodging agent (as such term is defined in the CMU Rules) on behalf of the Issuer and will be nominated as paying agent to receive notification from the CMU in respect of interests in the Global Certificate credited to accountholders with the CMU prior to the interest payment dates and the maturity date of the Global Certificate in respect of the Bonds.
All references herein (other than with respect to subclauses (1)(g), (1)(h), (1)(j), (1)(k) and (1)(m)) to the Principal Paying Agent shall, in relation to CMU Notes, be deemed to be a reference to the CMU Lodging and Paying Agent to the extent necessary for enabling the CMU Lodging and Paying Agent to fully observe and perform its obligations under the CMU Rules, and all such references shall be construed accordingly.
If this Global Certificate is held by the CMU Service, payment of interest or principal shall be made by the CMU Lodging and Paying Agent to the person for whose account a relevant interest in this Global Certificate is credited as being held by the CMU Service at the relevant time as notified to the CMU Lodging and Paying Agent by the CMU Service in a relevant CMU Instrument Position Report (as defined in the CMU Rules) or any other relevant notification by the CMU Service.
Each payment will be made to, or to the order of, the person(s) for whose account(s) interest(s) in this Global Certificate are credited as being held by the CMU Service in accordance with the CMU Rules on each day on which the payment is due.
