Common Schedule of Rates definition

Common Schedule of Rates means a printed document containing rates of different items of works pertaining to different Branches of P.W.D. i.e. Irrigation, B & R (Bldgs. & Roads Branch) and Public Health Branch and approved by the Committee of Direction of Chief Engineers of these P.W.D. Branches and Punjab Govt.
Common Schedule of Rates means a printed document containing rates of different items of works pertaining to different Branches of Engineer-in-charge.

Examples of Common Schedule of Rates in a sentence

  • Where the rates for non-agreement items do not exists in the Common Schedule of Rates, the same shall be determined by analysis.

  • If extra items due to any alterations, addition or substitution or due to any other cause include any class of work for which no rate is specified in the contract, the rates for such item/items shall be worked out on the basis of Common Schedule of Rates and approved by the competent authority.
