Commonwealth Entity definition

Commonwealth Entity means any government body which is subject to the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ (Cth).
Commonwealth Entity has the meaning given to it in section 10 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cth).

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, if a party is a Commonwealth Entity or a State or Territory government entity, that party will not be in breach of this clause 14 if that party is required to disclose the information to a Minister or a House or Committee of Parliament.

Commonwealth Purposes includes the following: the Commonwealth verifying and assessing grant proposals, including a grant application; the Commonwealth administering, monitoring, reporting on, auditing, publicising and evaluating a grant program or exercising its rights under this Agreement; the Commonwealth preparing, managing, reporting on, auditing and evaluating agreements, including this Agreement; the Commonwealth developing and publishing policies, programs, guidelines and reports, including Commonwealth annual reports; but in all cases: excludes the commercialisation (being for-profit use) of the Material by the Commonwealth.
Commonwealth Entity has the same meaning as in the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cth).
Commonwealth Entity means any entity that is a non-corporate Commonwealth entity (NCCE) or a corporate Commonwealth Entity (CCE), under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cth) (PGPA Act). ‘Commonwealth Entity’ may be referred to as the Commonwealth, Customer, Buyer or other similar term in a Contract.
