Such program will include the activities set forth in Appendix B: Federal Award Project Description, attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein, which are eligible under the Community Development Block Grant Program.

The County agrees to actively request the City's involvement in the Community Development Block Grant Program and the County agrees to accept the City's interest in undertaking eligible CDBG activities.
All activities funded with CDBG funds must meet one of the H.U.D. Community Development Block Grant Program National Objectives: benefit low- and moderate- income persons; aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight; or meet community development needs having a particular urgency, as defined in 24 CFR 570.208.
Nothing herein provided shall be construed as a limitation upon the application of other laws which establish different standards of compliance or upon the application or requirements for the hiring of local or other area residents (e.g., those under the Public Works Employment Act of 1977 and the Community Development Block Grant Program).
