Comparator Peer Group definition

Comparator Peer Group consists of those companies that are in the KBW Regional Banking Index on both the Award Date and the last day of the Performance Period.
Comparator Peer Group means the companies that comprise the S&P SmallCap® 600 Industrials Index as of the date of the beginning of the Performance Period as published by Standard & Poor’s Financial Services LLC (or its successor), or if such index ceases to be published or is otherwise unavailable, an alternate index deemed comparable by the Compensation Committee.

Examples of Comparator Peer Group in a sentence

  • The “TSR Performance Multiplier” will be determined by comparing the Company’s total stockholder return to the total stockholder return of each of the companies in the Comparator Peer Group (as set forth below) over the period commencing on the Award Date and ending on the third anniversary of the Award Date (the “Performance Period”) to determine the Company’s TSR ranking against the Comparator Group.

  • After the Final Year of the Performance Period, the results of each company in the Comparator Peer Group will be arrayed from highest to lowest.

  • Performance Goal(s) - Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in Fully-Diluted Earnings Per Share for the Company and each company in the Comparator Peer Group from the Baseline Year to the Final Year (i.e., for Fiscal Years 2006, 2007 and 2008).

  • Performance will be measured over the Performance Period using Baseline Year results and Final Year results for the Company as well as for the companies in the Comparator Peer Group (see Appendix A for these defined terms).

  • Comparator Group is defined as the following nine U.S. based carriers including, AirTran Airways, Inc., Alaska Air Group, Inc., AMR Corporation, Continental Airlines, Inc., Delta Air Lines Inc., JetBlue Airways Corporation, Southwest Airlines Co., US Airways Group, Inc. and UAL Corporation.

  • Peer Group means the group of companies, as more particularly set forth on attached Exhibit A, against which the Relative Total Shareholder Return of the Company is measured over the Incentive Period.

  • Comparison Group means a sample group of organisations providing Comparable supply of Services which consists of organisations which are either of similar size to the Supplier or which are similarly structured in terms of their business and their service offering so as to be fair comparators with the Supplier or which, are best practice organisations;

In the case of a merger or acquisition involving two Peer Companies during the TSR Measurement Period, the acquiree or merged company, as the case may be, shall be removed from the list of Peer Companies, and the acquirer or successor company, as the case may be, shall remain on the list of Peer Companies. In the case of a spinoff involving a Peer Company during the TSR Measurement Period, such company shall remain on the list of Peer Companies, provided that it remains an appropriate peer. Any new company formed as a result of the spinoff shall not be added to the list of Peer Companies for the current TSR Measurement Period (however, such company may be added to the list of Peer Companies for subsequent awards, if the Committee deems such inclusion appropriate). For the avoidance of doubt, following the closing of the Company’s acquisition of Celgene Corporation (“Celgene”), Celgene shall be has been removed from the list of Peer Companies.

  • Performance Measurement Period has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1(e)(ii).
