Compound Class definition

Compound Class means a chemical class or group comprised of structurally related compounds which are homologs, isomers, analogs, or derivatives of one another, as reasonably determined by the applicable Pfizer Licensor.
Compound Class means either (a) Small Molecule Compounds or (b) Antibody Compounds
Compound Class means any compound having the same active substructure (or active substructures, if more than one exist) of the BMS Compound used in identifying a giving Target.   • The Parties further acknowledge and agree that (i) for some indications, one Compound Class may have greater utility than the other Compound Class, and (ii) for some indications, the greatest utility may be maintained through the use of Compounds from both Compound Classes.

  • During the Biologic Research and Early Development Term, as OncoMed identifies Biologic Collaboration Compounds, OncoMed shall inform the JSC of the identity of such compound and the Biologic Collaboration Compound Class to which such compound belongs.

  • For clarity, Pfizer shall also be permitted to include in any such denial of AIP those compounds encompassed by Markush Structures (a) within such related Compound Class (as reasonably determined by Pfizer) and (b) that encompass any compounds on which research, development or commercialization has been conducted by or on behalf of Pfizer or its Affiliates (including by, with or through a Third Party) (regardless of whether the applicable AIP Request included such compounds).

  • The BSP Option for each Biologic Collaboration Compound Class shall expire at the end of the BSP Option Period relevant to such Class.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, OncoMed hereby grants to BSP the exclusive right to elect, at its sole discretion, to obtain an exclusive, worldwide license under Section 5.1.1 to Develop and Commercialize Biologic Collaboration Compounds within a given Biologic Collaboration Compound Class as Products under the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement (each such right to elect, a “BSP Option”).

  • After the JSC verifies that such a Collaboration Compound is a member of the applicable Biologic Collaboration Compound Class, the relevant Collaboration Compound shall be designated as a member of the 18R5 Class, a member of the Fzd-Fc Class, or a member of the Other Antibody Class.


More Definitions of Compound Class

Compound Class means any compound having the same active substructure (or active substructures, if more than one exist) of the BMS Compound used in identifying a giving Target.
Compound Class means to comprise one or more compounds which act in a patient following the same mode of action as a Compound.
Compound Class means each of the three classes of Compounds defined above in paragraphs (i), (ii) and (iii).
Compound Class means the class of Compounds associated with a particular CombinatoRx Compound selected by Angiotech pursuant to Section 6.4.1, determined in accordance with Section 6.4.2.

Related to Compound Class

  • Lead Compound means any compound of lead other than galena which, when treated in the manner described below, yields to an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid, a quantity of soluble lead compound exceeding, when calculated as lead monoxide, five per cent of the “dry weight” of the portion taken for analysis. In the case of paints and similar products and other mixtures containing oil or fat the “dry weight” means the dry weight of the material remaining after the substance has been thoroughly mixed and treated with suitable solvents to remove oil, fats, varnish or other media.

  • Development Candidate means a Compound that meets the Development Candidate Criteria for the initiation of a Development Program for the treatment of CF, and which is the subject of a notice from Vertex to CFFT that Vertex intends to commence formal pre-clinical development of the Compound in the Field pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.1 hereof.

  • Product Candidate means, [***].

  • Design Criteria Package means concise, performance-oriented drawings or specifications for a public construction project. The purpose of the Design Criteria Package is to furnish sufficient information to permit Design-Build Firms to prepare a bid or a response to the District’s Request for Proposals, or to permit the District to enter into a negotiated Design- Build Contract. The Design Criteria Package must specify performance- based criteria for the public construction project, including the legal description of the site, survey information concerning the site, interior space requirements, material quality standards, schematic layouts and conceptual design criteria of the project, cost or budget estimates, design and construction schedules, site development requirements, provisions for utilities, stormwater retention and disposal, and parking requirements applicable to the project. Design Criteria Packages shall require firms to submit information regarding the qualifications, availability, and past work of the firms, including the partners and members thereof.

  • Exempt compound means the same as defined in Rule 2.
