If the Notes become due and payable under Condition 10, the accrued interest and the Rate of Interest payable in respect of the Notes shall, subject in the case of each of the ▇▇▇▇▇ Compounded Index Rate and the ▇▇▇▇▇ Compounded Daily Reference Rate to Condition 5(b)(iii)(C)(y)(i), nevertheless continue to be calculated as previously in accordance with this Condition but no publication of the Rate of Interest or the Interest Amount so calculated need be made.
The Issuer may in the future also issue Notes referencing ▇▇▇▇▇, the ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Index, SOFR, the SOFR Compounded Index or CSTR that differ materially in terms of interest determination when compared with any previous Notes issued by it under this Programme.
If, with respect to any Interest Period, the relevant rate is not published for the Compounded Index either on the relevant Start or End date, then the Agent shall calculate the rate of interest for that Interest Period as if Index Determination was specified in the applicable Final Terms as not being applicable and Observation Shift had been specified as the Observation Method in the applicable Final Terms, and where the Observation Shift Period shall be deemed to be the same as the Relevant Number.
