Contingency Operations is defined in Section 101 (a) (13) of Title 10, United States Code; and includes short notice deployment, attending certain military events, arranging for alternate childcare, addressing certain financial and legal arrangements attending certain counseling sessions, rest and recuperation, and attending post-deployment reintegration briefings and parental care.
The Lower Basin DCP, entitled Lower Basin Drought Contingency Plan Agreement (including Exhibit 1 entitled Lower Basin Drought Contingency Operations), is attached and incorporated herein as Attachment B.
