Continuous assessment means internally moderated oral and written assignments, tests, practicals, project reports, etc.
Continuous assessment means assessment that is conducted on a continuous basis throughout the learning experience and includes formative and summative assessment opportunities. It is carried out at any of the pre- determined points of the total learning experience. These consecutive assessment opportunities, which include a variety of assessment methods, have predetermined weightings and include the assessment of all the outcomes within the module.
