More Definitions of Continuous emissions monitoring system
Continuous emissions monitoring system or “CEMS” means the total equipment, required under the emission monitoring provisions in this Chapter, used to sample, condition (if applicable), analyze, and to provide, on a continuous basis, a permanent record of emissions.
Continuous emissions monitoring system or “CEMS” means the total equipment required to obtain a continuous measurement of a gas concentration or emission rate from combustion or industrial processes.
Continuous emissions monitoring system or “CEMS” means the equipment required under subsection (i) of this section to sample, analyze, measure, and provide, by means of readings recorded at least once every fifteen (15) minutes, using an automated data acquisition and handling system, a permanent record of stack gas volumetric flow rate, stack gas moisture content, and oxygen or carbon dioxide concentration as applicable, in a manner consistent with 40 CFR 75 and subsection (i) of this section.
Continuous emissions monitoring system or "CEMS" means the equipment required under Article 8 (9VAC5- 140-6330 et seq.) of this part to sample, analyze, measure, and provide, by means of readings recorded at least once every 15 minutes (using an automated DAHS), a permanent record of stack gas volumetric flow rate, stack gas moisture content, and oxygen or carbon dioxide concentration (as applicable), in a manner consistent with 40 CFR Part 75 and Article 8 (9VAC5-140-6330 et seq.) of this part. The following systems are types of CEMS required under Article 8 (9VAC5-140-6330 et seq.) of this part:
Continuous emissions monitoring system or “CEMS” means the total equipment required to obtain a continuous measurement of an emissions concentration or emission rate from combustion or industrial processes, which meets local air district or U.S. EPA certification standards.
Continuous emissions monitoring system or "CEMS" means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of 401 KAR 51:017 or 51:052 to sample, condition (if applicable), analyze, and provide a record of emissions on a continuous basis.
