Continuous Operations definition
Continuous Operations means those functions that are required to operate on a 24- hour per day, 7-day per week basis, and shall include Police, Fire and Public Utilities functions.
Continuous Operations means where a Vessel is required to be available for 24hrs a day for operations to meet Charterers and Owners requirements and does not include free-running.
Continuous Operations and where other special conditions may apply, the basic work day shall be eight (8) consecutive working hours exclusive of any lunch period, and the basic work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday. Continuous Operations employees who work on a plant holiday, shall be paid at a rate of double time, plus their regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked.
