If, at the end of 52 weeks dating from an employee's first scheduled shift in January, an employee has not had a minimum of 116 days off, he/she shall be paid extra at the applicable overtime rate for each day by which his/her total number of days off falls short of 116 days except for days for which he/she was paid overtime in accordance with Articles 16 (Overtime) or 17.3 (Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest).
If a regular employee is called to work on a day designated as the lieu day, the employee will be compensated at time and one-half for all hours worked and the lieu day will be rescheduled in accordance with Clause 17.3 (Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest).
Additionally, full-time Employees shall be scheduled for a seventh (7th) Additional Day of Rest (ADR) in conjunction with an Employee’s scheduled days off or scheduled Statutory Holiday off or on a day which is mutually agreed upon.
Day of Rest in relation to an employee, means a day other than a holiday on which an employee is not ordinarily required to perform the duties of her position.
