Determination of Pass-Through Rates for COFI Certificates Sample Clauses

The "Determination of Pass-Through Rates for COFI Certificates" clause defines how the interest rates paid to holders of COFI (Cost of Funds Index) certificates are calculated. Typically, this involves referencing a specific index, such as the 11th District COFI, and applying a formula or adjustment to determine the rate that will be passed through to investors. For example, the clause may specify that the pass-through rate is set monthly based on the most recent COFI value plus or minus a predetermined margin. The core function of this clause is to ensure transparency and predictability in how interest payments are determined for certificate holders, thereby reducing uncertainty and aligning payments with prevailing market conditions.

In the event that the National Cost of Funds Index for neither the third nor fourth calendar months preceding an Interest Accrual Period has been published on or before the related Outside Reference Date, then for such Interest Accrual Period and for each succeeding Interest Accrual Period, the Index shall be LIBOR, determined in the manner set forth below. With respect to any Interest Accrual Period for which the applicable Index is LIBOR, LIBOR for such Interest Accrual Period will be established by the Trustee on the related Interest Determination Date as provided in Section 4.08.
