Effect of Event of Default Sample Clauses
The 'Effect of Event of Default' clause defines the consequences that occur when a party fails to meet its contractual obligations, triggering a default under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the rights and remedies available to the non-defaulting party, such as accelerating payment obligations, suspending performance, or terminating the contract. Its core practical function is to provide a clear framework for addressing breaches, thereby protecting the interests of the non-defaulting party and ensuring predictability in the event of a default.
