Enhanced DBS Position definition

Enhanced DBS Position means any position listed in the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended), which also meets the criteria set out in the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) Regulations 2002 (as amended), and in relation to which an Enhanced DBS Disclosure or an Enhanced DBS & Barred List Check (as appropriate) is permitted;

  • The Provider shall ensure that all Staff prior to their employment: in a Standard DBS Position who are engaged on this Service have been subject to a Standard DBS Check; in an Enhanced DBS Position who are engaged on this Service have been subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.

  • Subject to clause 11.8, the Provider may engage a person in a Standard DBS Position or an Enhanced DBS Position (as applicable) pending the receipt of the Standard DBS Check or Enhanced DBS Check or Enhanced DBS & Barred List Check (as appropriate) with the agreement of the Authority.
