Essential record definition

Essential record means any local government record necessary to the resumption or continuation of government operations in an emergency or disaster, to the re-creation of the legal and financial status of the government, or to the protection and fulfillment of obligations to the people of the state.

Essential record means written or graphical material that is made or received by the comptroller in the conduct of official state business and that is filed or intended to be preserved permanently or for a definite period as a record of that business.

Essential record means any School record necessary to the resumption or continuation of operations of the School in an emergency or disaster, to the recreation of the legal and financial status of the School, or to the protection and fulfillment of obligations to the people of the state.

Essential record means any Richard Milburn Academy record necessary to the resumption or continuation of operations of Richard Milburn Academy in an emergency or disaster, to the recreation of the legal and financial status of Richard Milburn Academy, or to the protection and fulfillment of obligations to the people of the state.

Essential record means any IDEA Public Schools record necessary to the resumption or continuation of operations of IDEA Public Schools in an emergency or disaster, to the recreation of the legal and financial status of IDEA Public Schools, or to the protection and fulfillment of obligations to the people of the state.

Essential record means a state or local record necessary to the operation of government during an emergency created by a disaster, or necessary to protect the rights and interests of persons or to establish and affirm powers and duties of governments in the resumption of operations after a disaster.

(5) “Executive branch agency” means a department, board, commission, office, bureau, or other public authority of the executive branch of state government. (6) “Historic record” means a public record found by the state archivist to have permanent administrative or historic value to the state. (7) “Local government” means a city, town, county, consolidated city-county, special district, or school district or a subdivision of one of these entities. (8) “Local government records committee” means the committee provided for in 2-6-1201. (9) “Permanent record” means a public record designated for long-term or permanent retention.
