First Metering Station or Connection definition

First Metering Station or Connection means that point which divides mainline transmission lines or higher pressure lateral and branch lines from lower pressure distribution systems. If a metering station or connection is located on a mainline transmission line, then the mainline pipeline work shall include the construction of all pipelines up to the point at which lower pressure distribution systems take off from higher pressure lateral and branch lines. IT IS UNDERSTOOD that this definition shall be interpreted as being subject to the definition of distribution work as contained herein.
