Fixed Public Telephone Network definition

Fixed Public Telephone Network means the public switched telecommunications network which supports the transfer between Network Termination Points at fixed locations of speech and 3.1 KHz bandwidth audio information, to support inter alia:
Fixed Public Telephone Network means a public telephone network with fixed termination points.
Fixed Public Telephone Network means a public switched telecommunications network, which supports the transfer, between network termination points at fixed locations, of speech and audio information, to support voice telephony facsimile or voice band data transmission and access, to an end-user’s network termination point, through a number in the national numbering plan;

Related to Fixed Public Telephone Network

  • Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) means telephone service for the transmission of human speech.

  • Telephone Service means calls (including voice, voicemail and conference and data calls), supplementary services (including call forwarding and call transfer) and messaging and multi-media services (including short message services, enhanced media services and multi-media services);

  • public telecommunications network means the public telecommunications infrastructure which enables signals to be conveyed between defined network termination points by wire, by microwave, by optical means or by other electromagnetic means;

  • Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.

  • Telephone Toll Service is As Defined in the Act.
