Flexibility Service definition

Flexibility Service. , means an Additional Service defined as per the TIRG, for which the Operating Company makes available a Redelivery Program Variation on Day D for the same Day D and/or for Day D+1.

Flexibility Service. , means an Additional Service defined as per the TIRG, for which the Operating Company makes available on Day D: (i) to the Users a Redelivery Program Variation and (ii) to the Transport System Users, a Gas exchange at PSV for the same Day D and/or for Day D+1. The Operating Company also indicates the constraints within which the Compensation Period ("CP") can be defined, namely the times and quantities to: (i) compensate the Redelivery Program Variation to its Users and /or (ii) compensate the Gas exchange at the PSV with the Transport System Users

Flexibility Service means a service that permits, in a cost-effective way, to reduce the need to increase or replace the throughput capacity of the network by expanding the electricity market, among others, to producers of electricity from renewable sources, to distributed producers, to market participants participating in demand response, to undertakings operating energy storage activities, to providers of reserve capacity required for system management and to aggregators;

Flexibility Service by DSOs means a service necessary for DSO to manage local congestion or to improve efficiencies in the operation and development of the distribution system, provided by flexibility resources; this could be considered as: non-frequency ancillary services (inter alia: voltage control), local congestion management services, and grid capacity management services.
