Handling of Hazardous Substances definition

Handling of Hazardous Substances means the production, use, reuse, generation, Release, storage, treatment, formulation, processing, labeling, distribution, introduction into commerce, registration, transportation, reclamation, recycling, disposal, arranging for disposal, discharge or other handling or disposition of Hazardous Substances.
Handling of Hazardous Substances means the production, use, generation, Release, storage, treatment, formulation, processing, labeling, distribution, introduction into commerce, registration, transportation, reclamation, recycling, disposal, discharge, release or other handling or disposition of Hazardous Substances.

  • Seller has provided to Buyer all material permits, audits, reports, notices, assessments, and other documentation relating to the Handling of Hazardous Substances or Environmental Laws at the Hospital or Hospital Campus Real Property that are in the possession, custody, or control of the Seller.

Related to Handling of Hazardous Substances

  • Hazardous Substances means any substances defined or designated as hazardous or toxic waste, hazardous or toxic material, hazardous or toxic substance or similar term, by any environmental statute, rule or regulation of any governmental entity presently in effect and applicable to such real property.

  • Hazardous Substance Activity means any actual, proposed or threatened storage, holding, existence, use, release, emission, discharge, generation, processing, abatement, removal, cleanup or detoxification, disposition, handling or transportation of any Hazardous Substance from, under, into or on or in respect of the property subject to this Agreement or the surrounding property, or any other activity or occurrence that causes or would cause such event to exist.

  • Hazardous substance UST system means an UST system that contains a hazardous substance defined in section 101(14) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980 (but not including any substance regulated as a hazardous waste under subtitle C) or any mixture of such substances and petroleum, and which is not a petroleum UST system.

  • Hazardous Substance means any substance that is: (i) listed, classified or regulated pursuant to any Environmental Law; (ii) any petroleum product or by-product, asbestos-containing material, lead-containing paint or plumbing, polychlorinated biphenyls, radioactive materials or radon; or (iii) any other substance which is the subject of regulatory action by any Governmental Entity pursuant to any Environmental Law.

  • Extremely Hazardous Substance has the meaning set forth in Section 302 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986, as amended.
