Harmonised System definition

Harmonised System or "HS" means the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, including all legal notes and amendments thereto developed by the World Customs Organization.
Harmonised System means the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System, including its General Rules of Interpretation, Section Notes and Chapter Notes, as adopted by the Parties in their respective tariff laws;
Harmonised System means the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System established by the International Convention on the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System;

  • The unit of qualification for the application of the provisions of this Protocol shall be the particular product which is considered as the basic unit when determining classification using the nomenclature of the Harmonised System.
