Hosted System definition

Hosted System means a combination of hardware, software, and networking elements that comprise an information technology system. Depending on the Services the Customer is buying, the Hosted System may consist of a dedicated system for the Customer’s use only, the right to use certain parts of a shared system that Galaxy IT maintains for many customers or a combination of some dedicated elements and some shared elements.
Hosted System means an information system (including, software, hardware and networking elements) maintained by Arcserve for certain of Arcserve’s customers (including, but not limited to, you).

Examples of Hosted System in a sentence

  • You do not acquire any ownership interest in or right to possess the Hosted System, and you have no right of physical access to the Hosted System.

  • As between the parties and subject to the grants in this Agreement, Arcserve owns all right, title and interest in and to: (i) the Services, the Arcserve UDP Cloud Direct Client Software, and any other software provided by Arcserve for your use of the Services; (ii) the Hosted System; (iii) any work product developed by Arcserve as a result of the performance of the Services and/or the Support; and (iv) any and all Intellectual Property Rights embodied therein.

  • Advance replacement items must often be programmed for use on our customer’s Hosted System and/or have their MAC address entered into the customer’s PBX for proper operation.


More Definitions of Hosted System

Hosted System means a Customer Configuration provided by Rackspace for Customer’s use at a Rackspace data center.

Depending on the Services purchased by the Customer, the Hosted System are those technology hardware and software within the Aptum data center from which the Services are provision from (“Aptum DC”) that may consist of (a) a dedicated system owned by Aptum and assigned to the Customer for the Customer’s use only; (b) dedicated system owned by the Customer (collectively the “Customer System”) for the Customer’s use only; (c) certain parts of a shared system that Aptum maintains for other customers (a/k/a multi-tenant cloud and multi-tenant hosting); or (d) a combination of such systems.
