Hydrostatic testing definition

Hydrostatic testing means the application of internal pressure above the normal or maximum operating pressure to a segment of pipeline, under no-flow conditions for a fixed period of time, utilizing a liquid test medium.
Hydrostatic testing means pressure testing by hydrostatic methods.
Hydrostatic testing means testing for leaks by pressurizing the piping with water or fertilizer at a pressure higher than normal operating pressure.
