Index Cessation Effective Date definition

Index Cessation Effective Date means, in respect of an Index Cessation Event, the first date on which the Applicable Rate is no longer provided. If the Applicable Rate ceases to be provided on the same day that it is required to determine the rate for an Interest Determination Date, but it was provided at the time at which it is to be observed (or, if no such time is specified, at the time at which it is ordinarily published), then the Index Cessation Effective Date will be the next day on which the rate would ordinarily have been published.
Index Cessation Effective Date means, with respect to one or more Index Cessation Events, the first date on which the Applicable Benchmark would ordinarily have been published or provided and is no longer published or provided.
Index Cessation Effective Date means, in respect of an Index Cessation Event, the first date on which CORRA or the Applicable Fallback Rate, as applicable, is no longer provided. If CORRA or the Applicable Fallback Rate, as applicable, ceases to be provided on the same day that it is required to determine the base rate for an interest period pursuant to the terms of an applicable series of compounded CORRA notes but it was provided at the time at which it is to be observed pursuant to the terms and provisions of such series of compounded CORRA notes (or, if no such time is specified in the terms and provisions of such series, at the time at which it is ordinarily published), then the Index Cessation Effective Date will be the next day on which the rate would ordinarily have been published;

Examples of Index Cessation Effective Date in a sentence

  • If the €STR Reference Rate is not published in respect of a TARGET Settlement Day as specified above, and unless both an €STR Index Cessation Event and an €STR Index Cessation Effective Date (each, as defined below) have occurred, the €STR Reference Rate shall be a rate equal to €STR for the last TARGET Settlement Day for which such rate was published on the ECB's Website.

  • If an Index Cessation Effective Date occurs with respect to ▇▇▇▇▇, the Rate of Interest for an Interest Determination Date which occurs on or after such Index Cessation Effective Date will be the CAD Recommended Rate, to which the most recently published spread will be applied and the Issuer (or its designee) shall make such adjustments as are necessary to account for any difference in the term, structure or tenor of the CAD Recommended Rate in comparison to ▇▇▇▇▇.

  • If a Tenn SOFR Index Cessation Event has occurred, the rate in respect of an Interest Determination Date occurring on or after the Term SOFR Index Cessation Effective Date will be, subject to subsections (iii) and (iv) below, the Term SOFR Recommended Fallback Rate for the duration of the relevant Interest Period.

  • If the €STR Reference Rate is not published in respect of a TARGET Settlement Day as specified above, and unless both an €STR Index Cessation Event and an €STR Index Cessation Effective Date (each, as defined below) have occurred, the €STR Reference Rate shall be a rate equal to €STR for the last TARGET Settlement Day for which such rate was published on the ECB’s Website.


More Definitions of Index Cessation Effective Date

Index Cessation Effective Date means, in respect of one or more Index Cessation Events, the first date on which CDOR is no longer provided. If CDOR ceases to be provided on the Relevant Original Fixing Date but it was provided at the time at which it is to be observed pursuant to the terms and provisions of the applicable series of CDOR notes, then the Index Cessation Effective Date will be the next day on which the rate would ordinarily have been published;
Index Cessation Effective Date means, in respect of an Index Cessation Event, the first date in respect of which EURIBOR, or (if an Applicable Fallback Rate is being used) such Applicable Fallback Rate, is no longer provided. If EURIBOR, or, as the case may be, such Applicable Fallback Rate, ceases to be provided on the same day that it is required to determine the rate for a Reset Date pursuant to the terms of the contract but it was provided at the time at which it is to be observed pursuant to the terms of the contract (or, if no such time is specified in the contract, at the time at which it is ordinarily published), then the Index Cessation Effective Date will be the next day on which the rate would ordinarily have been published;
Index Cessation Effective Date means the first day (inclusive) as of which the relevant Reference Rate or a relevant maturity is no longer provided as a result of one or more Discontinuation Events. If the relevant Reference Rate or the relevant maturity is discontinued on the Interest Determination Date, but was still made available on the relevant Interest Determination Date at the relevant Determination Time, the Index Cessation Effective Date shall be the next day on which the relevant Reference Rate or the relevant maturity would normally have been published.
Index Cessation Effective Date means, in respect of TONA and/or the JPY 1-year TONA Tokyo Swap Rate-10:00 and an Index Cessation Event, the first date on which TONA and/or the JPY 1-year TONA Tokyo Swap Rate-10:00 would ordinarily have been provided and is no longer provided.
