Index Futures definition

Index Futures means any stock exchange index futures and/or options which are from time to time traded on the HKFE.
Index Futures means, as limited by Schedule E hereto, futures contracts (which must be U.S.-exchange traded and U.S. dollar denominated) based on the following indices, or their respective successor indices: S&P 500 Index, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ 1000 Index, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ 2000 Index, S&P Mid-Cap 400 Index and MSCI EAFE Index or such other indices as may be permitted (and subject to such terms as may be specified) in writing by the Warranty Provider in its sole discretion, which approval shall be evidenced by an amendment to Schedule E.
Index Futures shall have the meaning set forth in the Trust Agreement.

Examples of Index Futures in a sentence

  • In the event that the Financial Instruments Exchange, prior to the final settlement date for Index Futures Trading, finds any error in the special settlement index value or the special quotation and changes such index or value pursuant to its rules, I/we shall comply with such a change.

  • A rollover will arise in Futures Based CFDs, such as Commodity CFDs and Index Futures CFDs, when the underlying front month futures contract is approaching the Expiry Date and we change our CFD pricing feed from the front month to the Next Serial Futures Contract.

  • The Authorized Participant acknowledges that such reporting may result in a mismatch in the character or other tax attributes of gain or loss from Index Futures and iShares.

  • The Authorized Participant will report any built-in gain or loss on Index Futures that it receives from the Trust on redemption of iShares under the rules of section 1256 of the Code (absent a valid election to do otherwise), and, to the extent applicable, will report any offsetting gain or loss on the remaining iShares held by the Authorized Participant under the rules of section 475 of the Code.

  • A Beneficial Owner's "Initial Contribution" will be equal to the amount of cash and the value (as determined under Section 7 of this Annex I) of any Index Futures or Short-Term Securities contributed to the Trust by the Beneficial Owner or its agent on the first issuance of Shares to the Beneficial Owner or its agent as described in Article II.


More Definitions of Index Futures

Index Futures means index futures contracts on the S&P GSCI™ Excess Return Index that are listed and traded on a Futures Exchange.
Index Futures means index future contracts on the Roll Select Index that are listed and traded on a Futures Exchange.
