If two United States Treasury securities with an original maturity greater than the Index Maturity specified on the face hereof have remaining terms to maturity equally close to the particular Index Maturity, the quotes for the United States Treasury security with the shorter original remaining term to maturity will be used.
The London Interbank offered rate (“LIBOR”) means, with respect to any Interest Determination Date, the rate for deposits in U.S. dollars having the Index Maturity that appears on the Designated LIBOR Page as of 11:00 a.m., London time, on such Interest Determination Date.
In the case of a Fixed Rate Certificated Note, the Interest Rate and reset provisions (if any) or, in the case of a Floating Rate Certificated Note, the Base Rate, Initial Interest Rate (if known at such time), Interest Reset Period, Interest Reset Dates, Index Maturity, Spread and/or Spread Multiplier (if any), Minimum Interest Rate (if any), Maximum Interest Rate (if any) and reset provisions (if any).
If such rate does not appear on Telerate Page 3750, One-Month LIBOR for that LIBOR Determination Date shall be determined on the basis of the rates at which deposits in United States dollars, having a One-Month Index Maturity and in an amount of not less than $1,000,000, are offered by the Reference Banks at approximately 11:00 a.m., London time, on that day to prime banks in the London interbank market.
On the Interest Determination Date, those three banks will be requested to provide their offered quotations for loans in the relevant Index Currency having an Index Maturity specified in the Pricing Supplement commencing on the Interest Reset Date to leading European banks at approximately 11:00 A.M., New York time.
