Index Options definition

Index Options means options of which the underlying is financial index or securities
Index Options means “OTC Options” as defined in, and subject to the limitations set forth in, the Investment Guidelines, to the extent credited (in full or in part) to the Funds Withheld Account in accordance with this Agreement.
Index Options. These are very similar to stock options, but rather than the underlying security being stocks in a specific company it is an index – such as the S&P 500. Forex/Currency Options: Contracts of this type grant the owner the right to buy or sell a specific currency at an agreed exchange rate.

Examples of Index Options in a sentence

  • The Index Effective Date is shown on your Index Options statement.

  • If the Issue Date is the Index Effective Date, we also allocate Purchase Payments to one or more of the Index Options according to your Index Effective Date allocation instructions.

  • Transfers we make at the end of the Right to Examine period, Transfers made pursuant to a regularly scheduled Transfer, Transfers between the Index Options or between the Variable Options and the Index Options, or other Transfers under programs specifically waiving the Transfer Fee are not counted in determining the application of the Transfer Fee.

  • Transfers from the Index Options to the Variable Options can only occur on a Transfer Index Anniversary shown on your Contract Schedule by providing an Authorized Request.

  • Transfers from the Variable Options to the Index Options can only occur on the Index Effective Date and on subsequent Index Anniversaries by providing an Authorized Request.

  • You can request a Performance Lock of the current Index Option Value for any of your unlocked Index Options by providing an Authorized Request.

  • On the next Index Anniversary, we transfer those allocations to the Index Options according to your allocation instructions.

  • Caps are shown on your Index Options statement each year and will never be less than the Minimum Cap shown on the Allocation Options Contract Schedule.

  • In the event that any error is deemed to exist in the special settlement index value or the special quotation prior to the settlement date pertaining to the exercise of an option in Index Options Trading and the Financial Instruments Exchange has changed the option settlement index value or the option settlement price pursuant to its rules, I/we shall comply with such a change.

  • The Index Options available to you are shown on the Index Options Contract Schedule.

Related to Index Options

  • Stock Index Option means an exchange traded option entitling the holder, upon timely exercise, to receive an amount of cash determined by reference to the difference between the exercise price and the value of the index on the date of exercise.

  • Options means any rights, warrants or options to subscribe for or purchase shares of Common Stock or Convertible Securities.

  • Number of Options The number of Base Convertible Securities in denominations of USD1,000 principal amount issued by Counterparty on the closing date for the initial issuance of the Convertible Securities. For the avoidance of doubt, the Number of Options outstanding shall be reduced by each exercise of Options hereunder.   • Vested Options means the Options that have vested in accordance with Section 1.3 of this Agreement.

  • 3(i) Option means an Option granted pursuant to Section 3(i) of the Ordinance to any person who is Non- Employee.
