The Participant acknowledges that it is authorized to submit a Redemption Order to redeem Creation Units of WEBS only with respect to Index Series in jurisdictions for which Standing Redemption Instructions have been provided to the Fund in writing. The Participant understands and agrees that the Distributor will instruct the Custodian or relevant Subcustodian to deliver, and the Custodian or relevant Subcustodian will deliver, Deposit Securities and any other redemption proceeds into the relevant account identified in these Standing Redemption Instructions.
Index Series means a Series which has elected to be taxed as a “regulated investment company” as defined in the United States Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and invests primarily in Securities and/or Derivative Transactions which are components of an index with the objective of (a) holding a portfolio of investments which substantially replicates the components of such index and the weightings thereof on an ongoing basis over such Trust’s life and/or (b) achieving a return which will be a function of the return or performance of such index on an ongoing basis over such Series’s existence. Such index related to an Index Series shall be referred to herein as the Series's “Target Index.”

  • The Fund may terminate this Agreement in whole or in part (for example, as to any Index Series) prior to the expiration of any Renewal Term upon sixty (60) days’ prior written notice in the form of Proper Instructions specifying the date upon which termination is to occur (“Termination Notice”) in the event that a conservator or receiver is appointed for the Bank in accordance with 12 USC §1821(c) or similar and successor provisions.
