Instance of service definition

Instance of service means each encounter with a member of the target population where services are provided for each of the eligible grant activities. For example, one individual checks into a warming center operated by Provider X on Tuesday. The same individual checks into the same warming center the next night. This counts at two instances of service for this activity.

  • Level of service has the meaning set forth in Section 2.02(c).

  • Terms of Service means those Support Services and Professional Services terms posted at ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/terms-of-service/, which are incorporated herein. Client acknowledges and agrees it has read, understands and agrees to be bound by the Terms of Service.

  • Denial of Service Attack means an attack intended by the perpetrator to overwhelm the capacity of a "computer system" by sending an excessive volume of electronic data to such "computer system" in order to prevent authorized access to such "computer system".

  • Supply of services means any transaction which does not constitute a supply of goods.

  • E911 Service means the functionality to route wireless 911 calls and the associated caller and/or location data of the wireless end user to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point.
