INTERRUPTION OF VACATION definition

INTERRUPTION OF VACATION. An employee shall be permitted to interrupt or terminate vacation leave in order to begin another type of paid leave provided the employee supplies official notice, in writing, and supporting verification for the reason of vacation interruption to the District.
INTERRUPTION OF VACATION. The District may allow permanent classified members of the bargaining unit to interrupt or terminate vacation leave in order to begin another type of paid leave without a return to active service, provided the unit member supplies adequate notice and relevant supporting information regarding the basis for such interruption or termination.

Related to INTERRUPTION OF VACATION

  • Service Interruption means the cessation of electricity supply to an ICP for a period of 1 minute or longer, other than by reason of De-energisation of that ICP:

  • Unplanned Service Interruption means any Service Interruption where events or circumstances prevent the timely communication of prior warning or notice to the Trader or any affected Customer;

  • Planned Service Interruption means a Service Interruption that has been scheduled to occur in accordance with Schedule 5;

  • Interruption means a reduction in non-firm transmission service due to economic reasons pursuant to Tariff, Part II, section 14.7.

  • Interruption Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5 hereof.
