Investigating entity definition

Investigating entity means an Investigative Entity within the United Nations system, such as the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS), or a similar expert entity, which is to be established by agreement with WMO upon the approval of the Executive Council;
Investigating entity means an organizational entity such as an office, section or unit whose mandate includes carrying out investigations in the Organization, in any other organization that is a member of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) or in any other international organization, and, where the context permits, any investigative panel appointed by the responsible official;
Investigating entity means an investigative body within the United Nations system of organizations, such as the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services, or within another international organization, or an outside entity qualified to carry out an investigation, such as a qualified law firm, with whom the IRENA Council has established or will establish, from time to time, an agreement to perform the investigative functions set forth in this policy and/or the Directive on the Disciplinary Process;
