Joint Functions definition

Joint Functions those aspects of the NHS England Specialised Commissioning Functions, as set out in Schedule 4, that shall be jointly exercised by NHS England and the ICBs through the decisions of the Joint Committee in accordance with the Terms of Reference;
Joint Functions means the functions jointly exercised by the Member CCGs through the decisions of the Joint Committee in accordance with the Terms of Reference and as set out in detail in the Delegation Document Law means: (i) any applicable statute or proclamation or any delegated or subordinate legislation or regulation; (ii) any enforceable EU right within the meaning of section 2(1) European Communities Act 1972; or (iii) any applicable judgment of a relevant court of law which is a binding precedent in England and Wales, in each case in force in England and Wales Lead Commissioner Member CCG Means the CCG with responsibility for overseeing the co- ordination and administration of the Joint Committee. For clarity, the Lead Commissioner shall have no responsibility for the commissioning or performance management of services on behalf of any other commissioner means the CCGs which are signatories of this Agreement NHS Act 2006 means the National Health Service Act 2006 (as amended by the Health and Social Care Act 2012 or other legislation from time to time)

Examples of Joint Functions in a sentence

  • The Joint Committee will operate as the decision-making forum for exercising the agreed Joint Functions in accordance with the Agreement.

  • In exercising the Joint Functions, the Joint Committee must comply with the Mandated Guidance set out in Schedule 6, or otherwise referred to in this Agreement, and such further Mandated Guidance as may be issued by NHSE from time to time, including on NHSE or FutureNHS websites.

  • In exercising the Joint Functions, the Joint Committee must comply with the Mandated Guidance set out in Schedule 8, or otherwise referred to in this Agreement, and such further Mandated Guidance as may be issued by NHS England from time to time, including on the NHS England or FutureNHS websites.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, the Joint Committee will only have authority to take decisions in respect of the Joint Functions.

Joint Functions means the functions jointly exercised by the Member CCGs through the decisions of the JC CCGs in accordance with the Terms of Reference and as set out in detail in clause [add] of the Delegation;

  • Essential job functions means the fundamental job duties of the employment position an individual holds. A job function may be considered essential if-
