Limited Source Code Access definition

Limited Source Code Access means: (a) access to Object Code or, where the normal use of such Object Code requires API, access to such Object Code and API, or (b) if (a) is not available, access to the Source Code.
Limited Source Code Access means:
Limited Source Code Access means access to the Source Code as available from the Party granting such access including access to the Software Documentation, provided in any case that an API including Software Documentation for the respective Software is not available, and also that use of the Software in Object Code form alone is not meaningful.

Examples of Limited Source Code Access in a sentence

  • Limited Source Code Access shall mean Source Code access (i.e. access to Source Code (as available from the Contractor granting such access) and also to Software Documentation), provided in any case that an API including Software Documentation for the respective Software is not available; and also that use of the Software in Object Code form alone is not meaningful.

  • All Access Rights to Software that is Foreground, whether for execution of the Project or for Use, shall be in the form of Limited Source Code Access.

  • For Software, which is either Pre-Existing Know-How or Knowledge, the Contractors also agree that they shall have Limited Source Code Access for carrying out their Work Package under the Project but they shall not have any access to Source Code for Use.

  • Access-rights to Software do not comprise access to Source Code but only Limited Source Code Access as defined below.

  • All Access rights needed for the performance of the ICON project or Use will be granted in Limited Source Code Access.

  • Access rights to Software which is Knowledge or Pre-Existing Know-How, needed for the execution of the Project shall be granted upon request on the basis of Limited Source Code Access, as of the date set out in the Contract on a royalty-free basis to and by all Parties.

  • For Software, which is either Pre-Existing Know-How or Knowledge, the Parties also agree that they shall have Limited Source Code Access for carrying out their Work Package under the Project but they shall not have any access to Source Code for Use.

  • Software, which is Knowledge or Pre-existing Know-how needed for Use shall be granted on the basis of Limited Source Code Access upon a bilateral agreement between the Parties concerned.

  • Software, which is Knowledge or Pre-existing Know-how needed for Use shall be granted on the basis of Limited Source Code Access upon a bilateral agreement between the Contractors concerned.

  • However, BlueBotics intends to grant Access-right for Use (software and non- software) for the following Pre-existing Know-how: • Needed confidential Pre-existing Know-how software on a modular compiled form and if necessary based on Limited Source Code Access; • Needed trade secret Pre-existing Know-how software on a modular compiled form only, but with support for adaptation in case of necessity.

Related to Limited Source Code Access

  • Source Code for a work means the preferred form of the work for making modifications to it. “Object code” means any non-source form of a work.

  • Open Source Code means any software code that is distributed as “free software” or “open source software” or is otherwise distributed publicly in source code form under terms that permit modification and redistribution of such software. Open Source Code includes software code that is licensed under the GNU General Public License, GNU Lesser General Public License, Mozilla License, Common Public License, Apache License, BSD License, Artistic License, or Sun Community Source License.

  • Company Source Code means the source code for any Software included in the Customer Offerings or Internal Systems or other confidential information constituting, embodied in or pertaining to such Software.

  • Hosted Software means: (a) Hosted NCR Voyix Software; and (b) Non-NCR Voyix Software provided by a third party as a hosted software application or cloud service and for which Customer purchases a subscription through NCR Voyix pursuant to an Order (“Non-NCR Voyix Hosted Software”).

  • Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.
