Linked Unit definition

Linked Unit means a unit comprising a share and a debenture in a company, where that share and that debenture are linked and are traded together as a single unit;
Linked Unit means, with respect to a Functional Unit, any other Functional Unit which is designated in Appendix 8A as being linked to the first Functional Unit;
Linked Unit has the meaning set out in Schedule 8 [Payments];

Examples of Linked Unit in a sentence

  • Any such forfeited or cancelled Linked Unit may be reissued by Holdco on terms and conditions as the it may deem appropriate, and a corresponding Unit reissued by the Company.

  • The Company shall, promptly upon receipt of any distribution from Holdco or proceeds from the Transfer of a Linked Unit, distribute such amount to the holder of the Unit issued in exchange for such Linked Unit giving rise to the amount received in respect of such Linked Unit; provided, however, that the amount of such distribution, except for tax distributions received from Holdco, may be reduced by the amount of Company Expenses allocable to such Unit, as reasonably determined by the Management Member.

  • After the Award Period, the Committee shall multiply the Conversion Factor by the number of Linked Unit Shares to determine the number (if any) of additional Shares to be awarded for the SASA based on Company performance during the Award Period, which determination shall be final, conclusive and binding (the Shares that are so awarded are the “Shares”).

  • The economics associated with each Linked Unit are intended to be allocated solely to the Member holding the corresponding Unit issued in exchange for the Capital Contribution of such Linked Unit, as further described herein.

  • The Company may issue Units only (i) upon receipt of a Linked Unit and (ii) with the consent of the Management Member.

Related to Linked Unit

  • Designated Unit means information technology devices (e.g. hard disks or central processing units) identified by Licensee pursuant to this Agreement that have been officially made known to the public as appropriate for Use or interoperation with the Software.

  • Share Unit means either an RSU or a PSU, as the context requires.
