Local Connection definition

Local Connection means a connection with the Town or County as appropriate and demonstrated by that person or a member of their Household to the reasonable satisfaction of the Council:
Local Connection means a connection to the District of [enter name] and as defined in the Local Connection Criteria.
Local Connection means that you or a person within the household currently lives within the defined area and has lived there for at least 2 years.

  • Clarification notes Applicants will only be awarded a priority Band A or B for a local authority area where they have a verified Local Connection to the area as described above.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, where there is more than one willing Eligible Renter or Eligible Purchaser the preference shall be afforded in the following order of priority in terms of Local Connection: the Parish; Adjoining Rural Parishes the District.

More Definitions of Local Connection

Local Connection means a connection demonstrated by a person or member of their household who at the date of an Affordable Dwelling in the relevant Parish being advertised:
Local Connection means: (a) a physical tethered connection; or (b) a local wireless connection that is restricted to a local subnet or localized network (i.e. targeted to within a Customer’s residence).
Local Connection means a connection with the Town or County (Saltash or Cornwall) as appropriate and demonstrated by that person or a member of their Household to the reasonable satisfaction of the Council: A person with a Local Connection with the Town shall take precedence
