Global Crossing will work with the Customer to develop a comprehensive work plan to implement and install the network including transport and Managed Devices.
Configuration management is the remote configuration of all Managed Devices in the network.
Global Crossing will, at Customer’s request and subject to agreement on a case by case basis provide out of band management modems (“OOB Modems”), on the following terms: • OOB Modems are not Managed Devices and are not covered by terms above applying to Managed Devices; they are provided (where agreed) as a tool to provide additional troubleshooting insight which is especially useful for remote locations.
The standard maintenance cover provided under this section 3.1.8 will not apply to Managed Devices which are damaged or which otherwise require maintenance or replacement as a result of Customer (or anybody under Customer’s control) attempting to maintain / service / move or otherwise interfere with such Managed Devices.
All Managed Devices will be maintained and serviced only by or at the specific direction of Global Crossing and should not be moved / serviced or otherwise interfered with by Customer without Global Crossing’s specific approval in each case.
