Margin Amount definition

Margin Amount means, with respect to any Purchased Asset on any date, an amount equal to (a) the lesser of (i) the unpaid principal balance of such Purchased Asset and (ii) the Market Value of such Purchased Asset, multiplied by (b) the Purchase Price Percentage for such Purchased Asset.
Margin Amount means at any time with respect to any Purchased Mortgage Loan, the amount equal to (a) the applicable Margin Percentage for that Purchased Mortgage Loan at that time multiplied by (b) the Market Value of that Purchased Mortgage Loan at that time.
Margin Amount with respect to any Transaction means an amount which is at least equivalent to the Required Margin and which shall be tied to the Purchase Price of the Securities throughout the life of this Agreement as calculated no less than on a daily basis;

Examples of Margin Amount in a sentence

  • If a Liquidation Date is specified or deemed to occur as a result of an Event of Default, the Default Margin Amount as at that date will be taken into account when determining the relevant Liquidation Amount.
