Maximum Generation definition

Maximum Generation means a Balancing Service provided from the Available BM Units by generating at a level above the MEL so as to increase the total export of Active Power from the Power Station to the National Electricity Transmission System, contributing towards The Company’s requirement for additional short-term generation output, all as more particularly described in Paragraph 4.2;

Examples of Maximum Generation in a sentence

  • The amount of Regulation provided by a unit shall serve to redefine the Normal Minimum Generation and Normal Maximum Generation energy limits of that unit, in that the amount of Regulation shall be added to the unit's Normal Minimum Generation energy limit, and subtracted from its Normal Maximum Generation energy limit.

  • Supervisory Control shall mean the capability to curtail, in accordance with applicable RERRA requirements, load registered as Price Responsive Demand at each PRD Substation identified in the relevant PRD Plan or PRD registration in response to a Maximum Generation Emergency declared by the Office of the Interconnection.

  • A Capacity Resource that has not been scheduled in the Day-ahead Energy Market and that has been sold on a bilateral basis must be made available upon request to the Office of the Interconnection for scheduling and dispatch during the Operating Day if the Office of the Interconnection declares a Maximum Generation Emergency.

  • The purchase price for Delivered Energy that is comprised of Facility Energy from a Facility prior to the Commercial Operation Date for such Facility shall be the Contract Price per MWh; provided, in no event shall Buyer be obligated to purchase or receive Delivered Energy in excess of the Maximum Generation unless Buyer shall by notice given to Seller elect to purchase any such Energy in excess of Maximum Generation.


More Definitions of Maximum Generation

Maximum Generation means (i) for each Contract Year, the value in MWh set forth beside such Contract Year under Maximum Generation in the table attached hereto as Appendix J, and (ii) for each hour, twenty three (23) MW, provided that, Seller may increase such amount from time to time upon thirty (30) days advance written notice up to twenty five (25) MW total in the event that Facility is able to deliver such increased amount at the Point of Delivery.

  • Normal Maximum Generation means the highest output level of a generating resource under normal operating conditions.

  • Normal Minimum Generation means the lowest output level of a generating resource under normal operating conditions.

  • Maximum Generation Emergency means an Emergency declared by the Office of the Interconnection to address either a generation or transmission emergency in which the Office of the Interconnection anticipates requesting one or more Generation Capacity Resources, or Non- Retail Behind The Meter Generation resources to operate at its maximum net or gross electrical power output, subject to the equipment stress limits for such Generation Capacity Resource or Non-Retail Behind The Meter resource in order to manage, alleviate, or end the Emergency.

  • Maximum Generation Emergency Alert means an alert issued by the Office of the Interconnection to notify PJM Members, Transmission Owners, resource owners and operators, customers, and regulators that a Maximum Generation Emergency may be declared, for any Operating Day in either, as applicable, the Day-ahead Energy Market or the Real-time Energy Market, for all or any part of such Operating Day.

  • Minimum Generation Emergency means an Emergency declared by the Office of the Interconnection in which the Office of the Interconnection anticipates requesting one or more generating resources to operate at or below Normal Minimum Generation, in order to manage, alleviate, or end the Emergency.
