Each employee will be expected to know and adhere to all training and the contents of the employee handbook supplied to them, especially the following; • OHS&R employee handbook • Relevant Work Method Statements (SWiM’s) • Safe Working Procedures (SWP’s) Each employee must have regard for their own safety and the safety of others in and around the work place and must immediately report all accidents, near hits and hazards observed.
Method Statements (Safe Systems Of Work) All Contractors shall provide written safety method statements to the client and ensure that copies are provided to and understood by his own operatives including sub-contractors prior to the commencement of any work.
A Safe Working Procedure is to be arranged before work is allowed to begin; this must include Method Statements and Risk assessments as defined below.

If there is no comment on such proposed amendment or substitution (on the grounds set out in paragraph 3 of Schedule Part 8 (Review Procedure)), then the Method Statements as so amended or substituted shall be the Method Statements for the purposes of this Agreement, subject to any further amendment or substitution to which there has been no comment in accordance with Schedule Part 8 (Review Procedure).
