Official Image definition

Official Image means an electronic image of an Eligible Bill, either created in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement or that otherwise complies with the requirements to permit negotiation and clearing of that Eligible Bill in accordance with the by-laws, standards, and Rules of the Canadian Payments Association.

Examples of Official Image in a sentence

  • In this context, transmission to and receipt by Us of the Official Image will have the same effect as if the Instrument was delivered to a branch of the Financial Institution for negotiation and clearing.

  • If no written request is received within that time, then 120 calendar days after an Official Image has been transmitted to Us through the Remote Deposit Service or such shorter period as stipulated by Us in writing, and provided that You have verified a credit to the Account that reconciles to the Official Image transmitted, You agree and shall ensure that each Signing Officer, Delegate, and Non Signer agrees, to immediately proceed with destruction of the original of the Eligible Bill.
