Orientation session shall be scheduled in advance by the Employer and may be arranged collectively or individually.
This meeting shall be during the new Employee’s paid working hours and may occur during the Employer’s New Employee Orientation session.
On the occasions that the Union-Employee meeting is held during the New Employee Orientation session, the Employer agrees to work with the Union to facilitate a suitable time of no less than one (1) hour to meet with new Employees.
These duties and responsibilities may be performed in a variety of modalities: face-to-face, online, at an Advising and Orientation session or as part of a department or program information session.
The Orientation session shall be held on District property during the work day of the employee(s), who shall be on paid time and who shall be required to attend.
