Physical Operating System Environment definition

Physical Operating System Environment means an Operating System Environment configured to run directly on a physical hardware system that uses physical Processors, each occupying a single socket on a system’s motherboard in a physical hardware system.
Physical Operating System Environment means an Operating System Environment configured to run directly on a physical hardware system that uses physical Processors, each occupying a single socket on a system’s motherboard in a physical hardware system. • “Processor” is generally a physical chip that resides in a physical socket of the hardware partition and contains one or more Cores.

Related to Physical Operating System Environment

  • Operating Environment means, collectively, the platform, environment and conditions on, in or under which the Software is intended to be installed and operate, as set forth in the Statement of Work, including such structural, functional and other features, conditions and components as hardware, operating software and system architecture and configuration.

  • Production Environment means a logical group of virtual or physical computers comprised within the Cloud Environment to which the Customer will be provided with access and use the purchased Cloud Application(s) in production and for its generally marketed purpose.

  • Customer Environment means Customer’s data network/equipment and premises environment.

  • Services Environment refers to the combination of hardware and software components owned, licensed or managed by Oracle to which Oracle grants You and Your Users access as part of the Cloud Services which You have ordered. As applicable and subject to the terms of this Agreement and Your order, Oracle Programs, Third Party Content, Your Content and Your Applications may be hosted in the Services Environment.

  • Operating System refers to the software that manages the Hardware Device. You have the right to use the Operating System delivered with the Hardware Device (and any updates acquired through our technical support services) only as incorporated in, and as part of, the Hardware Device and subject to the terms of the license agreement(s) delivered with or on the Hardware Device. Current versions of the license agreements are located in the documentation for the Hardware Device.
