Primary Terminals definition

Primary Terminals and “Primary Terminal” in Clause 1 of the Charter shall be deleted.
Primary Terminals means: (i) the ports listed in Schedule V; (ii) the LNGRV Buoys; and (iii) such other ports as may be proposed by Charterer and approved by Owner from time to time.
Primary Terminals has the meaning set out in Clause 5(a) and “Primary Terminal” means any one of them.

Examples of Primary Terminals in a sentence

  • Signifies terminals where some terminal data is not complete, but which will be treated as Primary Terminals so long as, in order for the Vessel to be accepted by the terminal, no changes are required to the principal dimensions of the Vessel, including: length, breadth, draft, displacement, location of cargo manifolds and lay-out of cargo manifolds (pipe size, layout of liquid and vapour lines, manifold dimensions, etc).

  • Once Owners are reasonably satisfied that a Terminal Under Construction is in all material respects compatible with the Vessel so as to allow safe navigation, loading and/or discharge, and the Terminal Under Construction has confirmed to Owners that they are prepared to accept the vessel to call and carry out cargo operations at their terminal (once completed), Owners agree to add such Terminal Under Construction to the list of Primary Terminals.

  • Signifies terminals that are under construction at the date of signing the Charter party and are not Primary Terminals (“Terminals Under Construction”).

  • Once Owners are reasonably satisfied that an Pending Terminal is in all material respects compatible with the Vessel so as to allow safe navigation, loading and/or discharge, and the Pending Terminal has confirmed to Owners that they are prepared to accept the vessel to call and carry out cargo operations at their terminal (once completed), Owners agree to add such Pending Terminals to the list of Primary Terminals.

  • Signifies terminals which have identified compatibility issues and are not Primary Terminals.

  • If following such compatibility studies, Owners deem a terminal compatible; such terminal shall be added to the Primary Terminals list in Appendix A.

  • All costs incurred in relation to such testing and recalibration under (i), (ii) and (iii) above shall be for Owner’s account, unless such costs are incurred at Charterer’s request in order to enable the Vessel to be utilized to provide transportation between ports other than the Primary Terminals.

  • If following such compatibility studies, Owners deem a terminal compatible, such terminal shall be added to the Primary Terminals list in Appendix A.

  • If Charterer directs the Vessel to any LNG loading or receiving facilities other than Class 1 Primary Terminals, Charterer shall give notice to Owner sufficiently in advance thereof so as to enable Owner to comply with health, safety, environmental or other similar regulations applicable to such other terminals including any alteration or modification required to the Vessel to meet the interface requirements of such other terminals.

  • Upon completing such modifications, the terminal in respect of which such modifications are made, and/or any terminal where a compatibility study has been successfully completed in respect of the Vessel, shall be considered a Class 1 Primary Terminal and shall be added to the list of Class 1 Primary Terminals in Appendix I to Schedule I.


More Definitions of Primary Terminals

Primary Terminals means the terminals set out in ANNEX “H” as amended from time to time by agreement of the Owners and the Managers;
Primary Terminals means (i) the terminals designated as such in Schedule V and (ii) such other terminals as may be proposed by Customer in writing and approved by Owner from time to time and (iii) any other terminals Charterer may propose, where compatibility studies show that no extra costs in achieving compatibility as normally required by the terminal shall be incurred by Owner, including costs incurred to achieve physical and regulatory compatibility of the Vessel.
Primary Terminals means (i) the terminals designated as such in Schedule V and (ii) such other terminals as may be proposed by Customer in writing and approved by Owner from time to time.
