Processing site definition

Processing site means a site which is used for the processing of waste tires and which is owned or operated by a tire processor who has a permit for the site.
Processing site means a site actively used to produce or manufacture usable materials, including fuel, from scrap tires. Commercial enterprises processing scrap tires shall not be considered solid waste management facilities insofar as the provisions of G.S. 130A-294(a)(4) and G.S. 130A-294(b) are concerned.
Processing site means a site recognized under the Program where a Processor has equipment and staff to shred or otherwise process Scrap Tires into Scrap Tire Material;

  • Provided the failure to detect the Excluded Waste, or other unauthorized wastes prior to Collection and/or their delivery to the designated Disposal or Processing site is not due to the negligence of the Franchisee or its employees or due to failure of the Franchisee to have an adequate in place inspection program, the Franchisee shall be entitled to include the costs incurred under this paragraph as an operating expense for purposes of rate setting.

  • Provided the City has not redirected the Contractor to use a different Recyclable Materials Processing Site and the Contractor is unable to use the approved site, due to an emergency or sudden unforeseen closure of the Approved Recyclable Materials Processing Site, Contractor may use an alternate Processing site as long as the Contractor provides verbal and written notice to the City within twenty-four (24) hours of use of an alternate Processing site.
