Proof of Continuity definition

Proof of Continuity means the definition pursuant to "ASME" 2010 edition, section "IX", the boiler and pressure vessel code as the performance qualification of a welder or welding operator shall be affected when one of the following conditions occurs:
Proof of Continuity performed during Acceptance Testing shall be determined by performing a physical fault test, from the MPOE or other demarcation point to the POI located on the horizontal side of the MDF by providing a short across the circuit on the tip and ring, and registering whether it can be received at the far end. The loop will be tested to meet basic metallic loop parameters, pair balance, and electrical characteristics such as electrical conductivity and capacitive and resistive balance. This test will be referred to as “Proof of Continuity” or “Continuity Test.”
Proof of Continuity shall be determined by performing a physical fault test from the MPOE or other demarcation point to the POI located on the horizontal side of the MDF, or, in the case of Subloops, from the demarcation point to CLEC’s Subloop Access Arrangement or Engineering Controlled Splice (as defined in Attachment UNE—Appendix Subloop), by providing a short across the circuit on the tip and ring, and registering whether it can be received at the far end. This test will be known hereafter as “Proof of Continuity” or “Continuity Test.”

More Definitions of Proof of Continuity

Proof of Continuity means documentation sufficient to establish that a welder or welding operator who has established performance qualification in accordance with the definition pursuant to "ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX: “Qualification Standard for Welding and Brazing Procedures, Welders, Brazers, and Welding and Brazing Operators,” 2010 edition, July 1, 2010, ASME BPVC, Section IX," 2010 edition, section "IX", the boiler and pressure vessel code has not allowed his or her performance qualification to lapse. as the performance qualification of a welder or welding operator shall be affected when one of the following conditions occurs:
