Examples of Redemption Instruction in a sentence
If a Redemption Instruction is received by MPF after 10 a.m. on a Business Day, or on a day which is not a Business Day, then MPF will treat such Redemption Instruction as having been received before 9 a.m. on the next following Business Day.
In such a case and unless otherwise agreed with the Trustee, Clause 10.2 shall apply as if the Trustee had sent a Redemption Instruction to effect the surrender of the whole of the Policy with effect on the date at which the Policy is to be terminated.
MPF will be under no obligation to make any enquiries as to the authority of the Trustee, its agents or any person whom the Trustee notifies MPF as being authorised to instruct MPF (including, without limitation, to give any Contribution Instruction, Retirement Benefit Notice, or Redemption Instruction) or give any receipt in relation to the Policy, nor to see that any Contributions paid or payable under the Policy are applied in accordance with the CIF Deed or the Schemes’ Rules.
For the avoidance of doubt, if a Redemption Instruction is received by MPF in respect of an As Of Sub-Fund after the relevant cut-off time referred to in paragraph (i) or (ii) above on a Business Day, or on a day which is not a Business Day, then MPF will treat such Redemption Instruction as having been received before 9.30 a.m. on the next following Business Day.
Each Redemption Instruction shall be binding upon the Trustee and MPF upon receipt thereof by MPF.
If MPF exercises this right, Clause 10.2 shall apply as if the Trustee had sent a Redemption Instruction effecting the surrender of the whole of the Policy with effect on the date of the termination (which for the avoidance of doubt shall apply in place of any return of Contributions).
