Reference check definition

Reference check means the gathering of information about candidate’s past history from people with whom such candidate has been associated.
Reference check is a score given by members of an interview team from recorded answers done by one (1) member of the team based on a prepared set of questions answered by at least two (2) referees.
Reference check means obtaining a candidate’s current and/or prior employment-related information (including roles and responsibilities, attendance and timekeeping, work-related performance, integrity and honesty, communication skills, etc.)
