A profit distribution shall be payable in arrear in respect of the Certificates on each Periodic Distribution Date, in respect of the Return Accumulation Period ending on such date, shall accrue at the Profit Rate and the amount of which shall be calculated as provided in Condition 7(b) (each such distribution being referred to in these Conditions as a “Periodic Distribution Amount”).
For these purposes, “Day Count Fraction” means, in respect of the calculation of an amount of profit on any Certificate for any period (whether or not constituting a Return Accumulation Period, the “Calculation Period”), the number of days in the Calculation Period divided by 360 (the number of days in such period to be calculated on the basis of a year of 360 days with 12 30-day months and, in the case of an incomplete month, the number of days elapsed).
The Calculation Agent will be entitled to recalculate any Periodic Distribution Amount (on the basis of the foregoing provisions) without notice in the event of an extension or shortening of the relevant Return Accumulation Period.
A Periodic Distribution Amount and the related Periodic Distribution Date may subsequently be amended (or appropriate alternative arrangements made by way of adjustment) without notice in the event of an extension or shortening of the related Return Accumulation Period.
The relevant Periodic Distribution Amount and relevant Periodic Distribution Date may subsequently be amended (or appropriate alternative arrangements made by way of adjustment) without notice in the event of an extension or shortening of the relevant Return Accumulation Period of such Tranche of Trust Certificates.
